An orthopaedic brace uses fixed and removable braces and has the philosophy of diagnosing and treating the problems causing the uneven teeth, without extracting teeth to create space.

This approach results in healthy face joints, improved profiles and a pleasing, wider smile. Another added bonus to our treatment is that it can be done at any age, our patients range from the age of 3 to the age of 65.

There are different schools of thought in orthodontics of which orthopaedic orthodontics is only one.  This method not only treats the symptoms, i.e. the misaligned teeth, but diagnoses and treats the cause of the misalignment of your teeth. Studies have shown that 99% of the time uneven teeth are not due to the fact that you has too many teeth or that they are too big. It is due to the arches holding the teeth, being too narrow.

Orthopaedic orthodontics therefore corrects the size of the arches as well as the balance between them with non- extraction treatment. 75% of the treatment are done by simply wearing little appliances and is then finished off with fixed braces (train tracks) for a much shorter period than other types of orthodontics.
